Responsibilities:
* Receives verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standards and discusses drawing details.
* Clarifies work requirements with QAPCO supervisor before implementations. Obtains all required work permits form QAPCO supervisor before commencing the assigned work.
* Ensures that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions and keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with Qapco's regulations and safety standards
* Collect materials and spare parts required for the assigned work from the warehouse. Prepares to carry out job. Follow all instructions from safety agents in the plant.
* Check work quality and takes corrective action to remedy any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
* Performs other similar or related duties such as assisting as necessary in other work using hand and pneumatic tools, maintaining good housekeeping at all work locations.
Requirements:
* 3 years technical diploma in the welding
* 5 years experience in the field
* Ability to read and comprehend Technical Manuals, WPS and drawing
* Ability to use all related tools in his field
* Ability to communicate/speak and write in English Language
* Ability to carry out jobs independently
* Should be intelligent and creative
* Must pass a welding test of selected metals with 100% radiography
* Shall possess welder qualification certificate.
